Hotel Cantareira, Niteroi

I found the hotel to have both positives and negatives. On the bright side, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making for a comfortable stay. However, the rooms lacked any decoration, which could have added a more welcoming touch. The service was flawless with no complaints, providing a friendly and excellent experience. On the upside, it is close to the UFF university and the Plaza Mall. The dining experience had its ups and downs; while some enjoyed it, others found the fruit juice to be too diluted, although the fresh unlimited pancakes were a hit. The facilities, in general, were satisfactory, offering what you would expect from a standard hotel. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and room for improvement.

The hotel is most definitely not for everyone. It is really nice to be able to do your own cooking, but the rooms are small, with no decoration, which gives them a bit of a cold feeling. However, the location might not be the safest, especially at night; it's sad because it's close to UFF university and Plaza Mall. The dining options were acceptable, although the fruit juice was mostly water with a pinch of fruit, which was a bit disappointing. As for the facilities, they were solid. If you're on a budget, it's a decent value for money, but keep in mind the negatives before booking.
